Friends,

Welcome to the new home of VOA Learning English. Really it's your home, so we hope you like what we have done with it.

Our site redesign comes with a new content management system. Our aim is to make it easier to find reading and listening comprehension materials, captioned videos, interactive exercises and other resources for English learners and teachers.

Please take a few minutes and look around. Tell us what you like and what we could do better. Use the contact form in the right column to send us a message. Type "redesign" in the subject line.

Learning a language is not always easy, but we are here to help, and we want to make your experience as enjoyable as possible.

If you are new to our site, here's a quick lesson:

VOA Learning English = Special  English + The Classroom + More

Special English is VOA's daily news and information service for English learners. Stories are written at the intermediate and upper-beginner level and are read one-third slower than regular VOA English. You can read, listen and learn with texts, audio files and captioned videos.

The Classroom is an e-learning platform. You can find a variety of English teaching activities, including some at the beginner level. You can also join live lessons on Facebook.

VOA also offers goEnglish, an interactive curriculum (using speech recognition technology) for speakers of Russian, Indonesian, Chinese, Persian and, the newest, Vietnamese.

Again, welcome, and tell us what you think. Please use the contact form in the right column.

Many thanks.
