I wonder why surgeons wear masks. Could it be that it stops possible airborne infections? Wearing masks is key to curbing the spread, the hospitalizations and death while allowing our businesses to remain open. It’s easy to downplay the statistics, but if it is your loved one who dies or recovers but with lifelong challenges, I suspect you would feel differently. To create a beloved community, we need to be thinking more about others and less about ourselves.
