Boy, 7, Japan: "What can I do to make my dog love me more?"

Submitted by a Japanese man who previously sent in a problem:

I'm sending a relationship problem of a cousin's son. He is a 7-year old boy living in Tochigi prefecture. He is having a relationship problem with his best friend -- that is his dog. His story is:

"I'm sad because my dog doesn't love me very much. He loves Daddy more than Mommy and me. Mommy and I play with him, feed him and take him on a walk every day, but he loves Daddy more than us. He always jumps and runs when Daddy comes home from work. What can I do to make my dog love me more?"

How much time do you spent with your dog? I had the same problem... I Loved my dog, but he always staied with my mother. How much time your father stay out of home?! Maybe your dog miss your father, and when he arrive, your dog turns happy because of him.
but this doesn´t mean that your dog doesn´t love you.

Don't worry, your dog loves you a lot, I think it'll take a little bit more time you to realise he love you. just spend more time with your dog than you ever have before.

I think you can play with , talk with and stay with your dog more . And maybe the dog run and jump around with you when you come back , too , maybe you didn't pay attention to it .Maybe your father has been away for such long time so your dog is happy to see him .

The dog always chooses a master between all members of the familly. I think Your Daddy is the master for him, it means the most important person.Your dog is very wise because he knows that you are the child and you couldn't be a master for him, but he loves you very much and takes care of you.

the problem is know you dog you need love more and give trainig stay more that dog and play and got aut side same time and also time for sleep. take time good lack.

My dear boy, it is good that you understand that the most important of love is to give without expecting, perhaps, when you love him in that way, your dog will show his love.
In your life, you could love to everyone without expecting.
