Chinese man, 25, working in Pakistan: Gay, but afraid to tell friends and co-workers

I am working in Pakistan for a very good Chinese company. My problem is how to live a life in China being a gay guy. As you know, outing could be a problem in China. I can't risk telling my friends and colleagues I am gay, but hiding and lying makes me feel not good about myself, as if it's something shameful. Well.I believe it's not.

I met someone special. He is my university mate. We've been together for one year. I am deeply in love with him, but he told me that he is going to marry a girl eventually. I am very depressed. I can't cheat a girl to marry her, but I also don't want to live a lonely live.

How to be honest and sincere without geting hurt? How to live a life?

friend. dont worry. being a gay is a natural thing as being a straight. dont proclaim ur sexual identity to all of your friends. it is natural. find likeminded boys and build relationship. good luck to u.

I think i can underand your situation, I know your problem is very serious for your family anh some your friend because eastern culture doesn't accept it easyly. Be brave guy, you can not tell a lie for all your life. It is dificult but you will fell comfortable and I know nowadays many people have same situation as you, I absolutely you would find real love for you. Good luck to you!

i know it is very difficult to tell the truth but u should try to do.Because u try to hide this and i swear that u really feel uncomfortable and angry about being another person not your real characteristic.Each person has each life. U're different and it is not guilty. Please be yourself and live happier. Life doesn't wait anyone.Your lover found the girl that he can take all the rest for.When u love a person, seeing her/him happy is enough to make u happy~.Hugs.

It is not a sin, you have the right of living your life as you want and with the person you love, you don`t have to hide your feelings, you should accept and be happy. Don`t worry or come to my country and you will not have problems like that. Good Luck.

in my opinion, you should not talk with friends and co-workers. they can't help you t to become better. Do look for a person who is like you to share together about your worries

Hey, I admire your courage and I totally believe that it's nothing wrong to be gay. It's not a big deal. It's nothing to do with your personality, you can still be a caring person and live a good life. As to your love mate, it's indeed horrible for him to marry another girl and put her life in misery. Unfair to her and you. As long as one is faithful toward love, there is nothing wrong being a gay man, or lesbian woman.China will be more open in a few years to accept you guys.

In my opinion, if you do not sure what happened after you tell other people. i suggest you should keep it in your mind. However, if you don't mind. The best way is beginning with your family and then friends close to you.
