My problem is that I am afraid of people. It is called SAD (Social Anxiety Disorder) and I have had it for years. Maybe it started when I was 15 years old or so.

Now I work at a small shop. I work alone all day (for 10 hours) and my day off is just once a week. Recently I began to feel weak and depressed while working and finally took two days off in a row.

I'm not going to quit but it is really getting tough to work there. Also I haven't had enough sleep, and tend to eat too much because of the stress.

I have no confidence to keep working here all day alone anymore. However, it is too frightening to ask my boss to increase my days off. Or maybe I can ask for one more person to be hired, but I am afraid to work with someone.

Can anybody help me out?

I think that it would be good for you to concentrate your memory only on good reminiscences. Try to think more about present. What is valuable for you personally in the future in the present and the in past independently from it other? Try to have integrity at first. Then try to think about sufficiency. Goodluck!

From my point of view, could you please believe in yourself first? You ought to talk with other close persons to interpret your problem. You could develop some hobbies.

First, you had better find something you like to do. You should use your time not only for work, but also your free time. If I were you, I would work four times a week, and do my favorite things. You must not think yourself badly. If you have a confidence a little bit, you are supposed to get better.

I think you should have much confidence in yourself, so you can ask your boss day off. Also, you should have tried to interact with other people when you were 15 years old. In addition, you ought to talk with your friends in the shop, and they can help you. You had better not leave your shop.

I think you had better try to speak to other people, it can't scared you. It is more efficient when you work with other people, it can reduce your pressure and help you defeat SAD. Remember, confidence would help you to make successful conversation with your boss.
