Portable Device Turns Organic Waste into Biogas
Remote communities in developing countries often have trouble securing regular supplies of energy for cooking and lighting. But energy is available everywhere organic waste is degrading. It's just a question of how to harness it. An isolated Palestinian village in the West Bank has been successfully testing a device that turns food waste and manure into biogas.
