Study Shows Drop in Immigration to Chicago
As the population in large cities changes, growth depends in part on legal international immigration. But in the Midwest city of Chicago, a decline in the number of immigrants over the last decade illustrates one reason the nation’s third-largest city is experiencing stagnant population growth.
