Trump Replacing National Security Adviser McMaster With John Bolton

American President Donald Trump has announced he is replacing National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster with former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton.

"I am very thankful for the services of General H.R. McMaster, who has done an outstanding job and will always remain my friend," Trump tweeted Thursday night.

Bolton currently serves as a commentator for Fox News, as well as an expert for the American Enterprise Institute, a public policy research organization. He has long been on the president's short list to join the administration. He is known as a tough-talking conservative. He has expressed support for possible military action against Iran and North Korea.
